Shipping Policy

The carrier I use to ship your order depends on several different factors including your address, order size, etc. I use the United States Post Office Priority Mail and United Parcel Service. I am not in business to make money on shipping, therefore, if the system has figured an excessively high shipping rate, I will discount the shipping just before I seal up the box and process your payment.

While I do not have a minimum purchase, I do have a minimum shipping cost.

Inside United States

I use Priority Mail and UPS, my choice.

Outside United States

System authorizes $51.30, but most shipments outside the US are less, so we change the final charge down to actual cost of shipping and insurance, plus a $2 handling fee for international orders.

International orders are shipped USPS PRIORITY INSURED. (**see why below)

If your order is heavier, I will contact you to let you know that shipping is higher than authorized, to get your approval for the additional amount. So please keep in contact with me via email. I will not ship any order out, that came to more than the authorized amount, with out your email permission.


U.S. Orders:

I ship anywhere in the continental United States. There may be an additional charge, depending on the item to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. This will be added to your sales receipt.

International Orders:

I ship to most countries. Shipping will vary depending on weight of item. I use the United States Post Office for most of these shipments. The cost of shipping Internationally will be added to your sales receipt when I put the order together.

If you require a shipping fee, email me your full order and shipping address and I will put it all together and email you back.

For international shipments, I use Global & Express, PLUS INSURANCE. Extremely heavy items may be shipped UPS or Federal Express.

International orders are authorized for $51.30 for shipping. My software has no idea what it will be. If you prefer to know prior to ordering, email me EXACT order, and ALL of your address. I will box the order and email you back. ** Due to the increase of international shipping in May, and a few hard hits I've taken due to lost packages, I will only ship USPS Priority Mail. Sorry, but I'm just stuck having to use that method.

Backorders:

When stock is not available, I will be in contact with you via email. Please check your email daily just in case. When orders are split into 2 or more shipments, there will be no additional shipping charges for shipping. Your credit card will be charged only for those items that I'm shipping. On remaining shipments your credit card will be charged only for those items being shipped (and of course no add'l shipping/handling fees).

Insurance

If you would like the package insured, just request insurance to be added on the checkout comment line. The cost of insurance will be processed through your credit card.

Return Policy

The following items are not returnable: knitting machines, videos, patterns and books(due to copying). Software that has been opened.
Angelika's cannot be responsible for mis-ordered items, so please be careful in your selection and feel free to call or email me with questions.
Items to be returned MUST be in original sealed packaging, without odors, in new condition so that it can be returned to the shelf and include a return authorization # from Angelika's.
I'm just a small business, and appreciate your understanding.

Restocking fee is 20%, but all items are on a case-by-case situation, and we must be contacted within 3 days of receiving the merchandise. No refunds on shipping/handling/insurance. Please call, email or fax Angelika's for return authorization.

Shipping and Damage Claims

If your shipment has arrived damaged, please contact your local UPS customer service within 5 days of receipt to report the damage. Save all packaging material for UPS inspection. UPS will inspect and pick up the damaged merchandise to return to the Angelika's.

Manufacturers Warranties

Merchandise covered by a manufacturer’s warranty is sold with the warranty by the manufacturer extended to the purchaser. We will be happy to assist in obtaining fulfillment of a manufacturer’s warranty. Other than applicable manufacturers’ warranties, there are no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
