#408 Cypress Knees Cheeky Mini-Bag

This minibag with its I-cord "cypress knees" is the perfect little bag to carry when you want to be unconventional. Big enough for a wallet, keys, and some makeup, this little purse is great for days when you are feeling whimsical but don't want to carry a big bag or a backpack.
The unique combination of techniques featured here -- I-cord embellishment with a simple chain-stitch of embroidery around the base of each "knee" (added after felting) -- is an opportunity to explore a fresh look that will make you feel positively cheeky.
The bag body and handle tabs of Cypress Knees are knit in one piece. I-cord "knees" are added before felting, with chain stitch embroidery added after felting.

Large Tooth Matching Zippers

These zippers are closed on each end, with a double zipper in the middle. To adjust length, just cut one end and retack in the new position securely. Be careful not to let the zipper sliders come off, nor allow the zipper to come apart during this alteration.

Any length zipper can be cut to fit. This gives you a better color selection
