![]() Noni Patterns: #118 Year of the Pig BagYear of the Pig Bag in Two Pigeldy Colorways 2007 is the year of the pig! While other people carry around their toy dogs in bags, you can carry around your own little pig . . . bag. Choose either the Pink Pig bag or its slightly larger cousin, the Pot Belly Pig bag. Both pigs are fun to make and very cute when finished. Nora's little boy routinely goes nose to nose with her two pigeldy bags. Not surprisingly, they are his favorites. Pattern Difficulty Level: Intrepid Beginner to Advanced. Pattern requires knowledge of knitting and purling, knitting in the round on both circular and double-pointed needles, making I-cords, and some basic embroidery stitches. The Pig Bag is constructed by using 2 strands of yarn. Materials for Pink Pig Bag: 3 hanks of Cascade 220 #9477 (tutu pink). Materials for Pot Belly Pig Bag: 3 hanks of Cascade 220 #4002 (dark jet grey) and 1 hank of #8010 (natural). Both bags also need polyester fiberstill stuffing, 7" large toothed custom color zipper, 2 handles, 4 25mm bag feet. US#11 (8mm) 24" circular needles, double point needles and a tapestry needle. |
