Lorna's Laces Embroidered Baby

A classic collared cardigan dressed up with simple embroidery.

Finished measurements: 20, 22 & 24" (which is 6, 12 & 24 months)

Materials: 2, 2, 3 hanks of Swirl Chunky, 5 three-quarter inch buttons. Shown with contrasting yarn of Swirl DK for embroidery. (or use similar from your stash.)

Gauge is 3.5 sts per inch. An alternate yarn, which matches this gauge is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Bulky.

Half Zip Pullover from Lorna's Laces

Cardigan or pullover? Both combine in this design which features a zipper closure in the funnel collar. OXO cables are flanked on either side by smaller coin cables; 2 by 2 ribbing fills the sides. The modified set-in sleeves feature the large cable pattern only, flanked by ribbing. Side pockets add convenience.

Finished Chest Measurements: 38, 42, 46, 50.

Materials: Swirl Chunky 10, 11, 12, 13 hanks. (Shown in #14ns Denim). US#7 (4.5mm) needles, cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holders and 7" zipper.

Gauge: 6 sts per inch in 2x2 rib pattern. Swirl Chunky is normally 3 sts per inch on a US#11 needle.

Lorna's Laces Georgia Jacket

Random cables of varying sizes are the main focus of this jacket. The cables begin without any introduction at the lower body edge, while the indented sleeves start with turned-back cuffs worked in horizontal ribbing. Front edges are also trimmed with horizontal ribbing, and end with an extended tab for the single-button closure.

Finished Chest Measurements: 40, 45, 50 & 55 inches

Materials: 13, 14, 15, 16 hanks of Lorna's Laces Swirl Chunky (sample is in #4ns Blackberry). US#6 (4mm) 29" circular needle. US#7 (4.5mm), cable needle and stitch holders.
