Lorna's Laces is hand-dyer based on the east coast of the US. The Shepherd Sock line is a luxurious mix of wool and nylon to create colorful and durable socks or other delicate garments. Fingering weight can be used in baby clothes, hats, gloves, lace shawls and more. The multicolors in Lorna's Laces Shepherd sock have short color runs and the colors will mix like falling rain in larger garments. In small items such as hats or socks the knitter might find color spirals as the colors change. It really all varies! That's the fun of hand-dyed yarns.

* Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock used to come in 215yd hanks. They are now always produced in 435yds. We still have some stock at the smaller hank sizes.
