Each kit includes a full color, large picture of the finished stocking, 100% wool yarn, full color large chart/graph of the design, special technique sheets, plus alphabet charted out, so you can add your own names.  Also any specialty yarns, sequins, beads, bells, silver or gold threads or any other embellishment required to complete the Christmas stocking is also included.

Difficulty level is intermediate, but with the technique sheets, I think a beginner can do the stocking quite easily.  I'm pretty impressed with the technique sheets.  It includes a good picture of the technique, plus these are techniques that are commonly used.

All you need is your Size 7 straight knitting needles.  Some Christmas stockings may need a bit of fabric glue and some may also need a beading needle, a tapestry needle and the knitting could be easier with the use of bobbins.  These are all items that are probably already in your knitting basket.
