Sweaters for Preschoolers

This book has ten designs for pullovers and cardigans all in five sizes to fit 12 months to 5 years. Styles include drop shoulders, saddle shoulders, raglan sleeves, crew and V necks in a number of different stitches. A variety of methods are used for knitting the necks and button bands.

These patterns are written for 4-ply yarns, such as Yeoman Cashmilon and Bramwell 4-py,  and are suitable for Japanese and Chinese punchcard and electronic knitting machines with ribbers.

This 36-page book has a color cover and spiral binding with black and white close-ups, detailed instructions and diagrams.

• Lace Trimmed Tunic with modified boat neck and dropped shoulders
• Tuck Jacket with crewneck and dropped shoulders
• Shawl Collar Pullover with V-neck and modified dropped shoulders

• Striped Pullover with crewneck and saddle shoulders
• Cabled Cardigan with V-neck and saddle shoulders
• Tuck Duffle Coat with crewneck and saddle shoulders on raglan sleeves
• Classic Pullover with mitered V-neck and raglan sleeves
• Colorful Cardigan with crewneck and raglan sleeves with an unusual join.

Santa's Stocking Workshop

This 30-page book has a color cover and spiral binding with detailed instructions, charts and diagrams.
Stockings made with five different construction methods for both single and double beds.

Although these patterns were written for 4-ply yarns, such as Yeoman Cashmilon and Bramwell 4-py, on Japanese and Chinese standard gauge punchcard or electronic machines, they can be easily adapted for use on mid-gauge or bulky machines.

One of my first learning projects were Christmas Stockings.  They were out of a pattern book long out of print. It was wonderful to see that Eileen included my favorite in her book. The Stocking knit from the Cuff Down is my favorite, although Eileen's favorite is the Stocking knit from the Foot Up!
