From the Heart, Felted Bowls

Gift Bowls in 3 sizes. Quick to knit, quick to felt. Optional decorative trim. Great for Valentines Day, Mother's Day and Weddings!!

Large Heart bowl needs 450 yards of worsted weight feltable wool. Finished dimension is approximately 3.75" high by 10" long and wide.

Mini Ruffled Bowl needs 150 yds worsted weight yarn. Bowl pictured has 30-100 yds of novelty yarn in part of the ruffle. Finished dimension is approximately 1.5" high by 6" wide, and 4.5" long. Ruffle is 1" wide.

Crochet chain edged Heart Bowl needs 80 yds of felted bulky weight wool in main color, and 32 yds in contrast color. Finished dimension is approximately 2" tall, 6" wide and 6.5" tall.

The Windham Tote with organizer insert

Written with multiple designs to allow you to customize to your needs. Use the organizer tote inside the Windham or use individually.

Purple Tote -880 yards MC and 800 yards CC (darker). Grey Tote -1050 MC (grey) and 600 yards CC. Use feltable wool such as Cascade 220 or Lorna's Laces Bullfrog and Butterflies. Finished dimensions are approximately 13" tall, 14" wide, 7" wide.

Purple Organizer Bag- Ring handle option, 223 yards MC and 120 yards CC. Grey Organizer Bag -Self handle option -290 yards MC (grey) and 190 yards CC. Use feltable wool such as Cascade 220 or Lorna's Laces Bullfrog and Butterflies. Finished dimensions are approximately 6" tall, 9" wide, 4" wide. Can knit and felt handles or purchase 2" rings-try these beautiful bamboo nickel rings.

The Dorset Bag

Knit this 11" tall, 9" diameter base, bag witha mesh stitches or a diagonal stitch pattern. A double layer decorative base maintains shape & durability. Mesh version takes 470 yds of worsted weight yarn. I suggest Cascade's Sierra, or similar worsted weight cotton or cotton blend. Diagonal version takes 550 yds.

The Somerset Bag

Knit with a variety of yarns. Featurs a sturdy double base. 13" tall, 15" long, 7" wide at base. I suggest Cascade's Sierra, or similar worsted weight cotton or cotton blend. Check my handles page for leather handle options.

A classy clutch for special occasions. Add glitz for the holidays with metallic accent yarns and a jeweled broach. Beaded or chain straps add further elegance. 5 1/4" tall, 10" long and 4" to 1" wide. Will accommodate a small camera, wallet, keys & makeup for the evening. The metal hardware for the handles is knit and then felted into the clutch! The pattern includes a special party purse for a little girl! 4" tall, 8 1/2" long and 3 1/2 to 3/4" wide, with the option to knit or apply a handle strap.

The Essex Tote

A very roomy handbag with an interior cell phone pocket. Leather strapping or suede strips are laced through the knitted eyelets to cinch in the sides and embellish the tote. Purse feet protect the base. Beads or charms add style to the lacing! 9 1/2" tall, 5" wide, and 11" long. The tote is finished quickly allowing you to spend time selecting your handle & lacing materials! Note: 3 - 36" lengths of 1/8" wide suede lacing strips where used for the Essex Tote-Striped Version and Turquoise Essex Tote.
