Caitlin's Clutch

A classy clutch for special occasions. Add glitz for the holidays with metallic accent yarns and a jeweled broach. Beaded or chain straps add further elegance. 5 1/4" tall, 10" long and 4" to 1" wide. Will accommodate a small camera, wallet, keys & makeup for the evening. The metal hardware for the handles is knit and then felted into the clutch! The pattern includes a special party purse for a little girl! 4" tall, 8 1/2" long and 3 1/2 to 3/4" wide, with the option to knit or apply a handle strap.

Materials: Worsted weight feltable wool, knit double.

Small used 220 yds, and 50 yds contrast color. #13 (9mm) circular 16" needle. 2 #13 double point needles and 2 .5" D or O rings for i-cord handle, or 5-5.5" wide purse handle.

Large with tab closure used 360 yds and 125 yds metallic carry along yarn. US#13 (9mm) circular 24" needle. Purse shown uses an 11" chain over the tab closure. Hand strap is 30", or shoulder strap chain length is 60". 1/2" Swival Snap Bolts (2) or 1" long lobster claw (2). 1/2" split ring (2). Snaps or magnetic closures or velcro.
