Poinsettia Plant

A festive decoration for your home or desk, 10.5" tall. Doesn’t need watering and won’t drop drop its leaves! This pattern includes detailed instructions for flower pot, 3 leaf sizes, photo tutorial, wire and nylon cord for the stems. You have the option to knit bobbles or apply beads (not included) for the centers. The Poinsettia “flower” is attached to a wired I-cord stem. Form the stem into a circle and you have a lovely holiday napkin ring!

Materials: Worsted weight feltable wool. Cascade Pastaza or Cascade 220. Sample used Cascade 220 #8895, 8894 & 7827.
Flower Pot: 220 yds and 50 yds thread based carry along yarn.
Plant: 220 yds each of red for flower and green for leaf.
Bobble: 20 yds and optional metallic fingering weight yarn.

#9 (5.5mm) for 4 sts per inch. #13 (9mm) 16" circular for 3 sts per inch.
