Felted Rose Bowl

2 bags to knit and felt.

This versatile vase pattern includes instruction for two rose bowls (approx 4" and 6" tall), and 2 roses & leaf. Knit with off white Cascade 220 with a felted red rose for the holidays! Samples shown knit with Lambs Pride bulky, Lorna’s Laces Bullfrogs and Butterflies “Childsplay”. Coordinating suede strips with beads applied after felting. The small rose bowl was knit with two shades (light & dark) of Cascade 220 and embellished with beads after felting. Using Cascade 220 Hand Dyed Paints would also be fun.

Materials: Bowl requires 220 yds (small bowl is 180 yds) of feltable worsted wool such as Cascade 220 (1 hank) solids and heathers or hand dyed paints.
Leaves and Flower needs at least 50 yds.

US#13 (9mm) 16" circular needle for bowl and #8 (5mm) and #10 (6mm) . stitch markers, tapestry needle.

Gauge: 3 sts per inch using 2 strands and #13 needle.
